Terms and Conditions
This document outlines the rules for using the roche-events.eu portal („Portal”) and describes the services provided through the Portal. Before using the Portal, the User is obligated to familiarize themselves with these Terms and Conditions. Commencing use of the Portal is synonymous with agreeing to use the Portal on the terms described in these Terms and Conditions.
The Portal is operated by Roche Diagnostics Polska Sp. z o.o., located at ul. Bobrowiecka 8, 00-728 Warsaw, registered in the National Court Register kept by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw in Warsaw, 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under the KRS number 0000132695, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 527-23-22-068, share capital of PLN 8,000,000 („RDP”).
Information Posted on the Portal
The Portal is used for the exchange of informational content related to webinars organized by RDP and enables registration for selected webinars. Services provided through the Portal include the opportunity for the user to access materials made available by RDP in such a way that the user has access to them at a place and time of their choosing.
RDP makes every effort to ensure that the information placed on the Portal is accurate and updated regularly; however, it is not possible to guarantee that all information is complete and correct. RDP is not responsible for the consequences of using the Portal and its content. RDP has the right to change the content placed on the Portal at any time. The content posted on the Portal is for informational purposes only. None of the elements of this Portal constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any issues related to the use of products presented on the Portal must be discussed with a professional.
Rules for Using the Portal
- The User is obliged to use the Portal in accordance with applicable laws, accepted social norms and customs, and the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
- The User undertakes, in particular, to:
- Use the Portal in a manner that does not disrupt its functioning, in particular, by using specific software or devices.
- Refrain from performing any computer activities or any other activities aimed at obtaining information not intended for the User.
- Not provide or transmit content of an unlawful nature.
- Use the Portal without causing inconvenience to other Users and RDP, respecting their personal rights (including the right to privacy) and any rights that may be due to them.
- Comply with copyright and related property rights as well as rights arising from the registration of trademarks of RDP, companies from the RDP capital group, and other Users.
- Not undertake any other actions that may harm RDP, Users, or others.
Intellectual Property Rights
RDP informs that the content made available on the Portal, including works, trademarks, databases, their selection and arrangements, are the subject of intellectual property rights. No part of them may be reproduced or distributed in any form or in any way without the prior written consent of RDP or the authorized persons. Use of the content made available on the Portal is only possible within the limits of the permitted use provided for by the relevant regulations.
Links to Third-Party Websites
The Portal may contain links to third-party websites; however, RDP does not approve their content, nor is it responsible for the availability and content provided on such websites.
Technical Conditions
Access to the Portal and the full display of content placed on the Portal is only possible for Users with equipment meeting the following technical requirements:
Computer equipment enabling Internet access.
Internet access with a minimum bandwidth of 700 kilobits/s.
An installed web browser such as MS Edge, Firefox, Opera, Chrome.
Use of the Portal is associated with the risk arising from using the teleinformatics network. When using the Portal, it is recommended to follow general safety rules related to using the Internet. In the event of any suspicions or identification of any threats related to using the Portal, you should immediately contact RDP.
Privacy Protection
The use of the Portal may involve the processing of selected personal data of the Portal user. The principles of personal data processing and privacy protection are included in the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
RDP is authorized to change these Terms and Conditions, driven primarily by technical, legal, and changes in the rules of service provision. All changes to these Terms and Conditions come into effect as indicated by RDP.
